One has to be a mad, drunken communist in the depths of Siberia to have the patience to deal with the Newton OS 1.x clock. Why else would they create apps to handle that monster? It looks like a neat idea, but in practice it's like chewing on glass. Thank goodness for Frank's solution.

Why does everyone pick on the clock control in OS 1.x? It's the most intuitive way to set the time! When I first used it, I immediately knew what to do and it is very accurate (when you tap somewhere, it responds very precisely). When I encountered the OS 2.x clock control, I had to look it up in the manual to find out what to do.
