I had no idea… My only Newton is a MessagePad 2100, and text recognition, rotating the screen, and other things just work so fast. I knew the MP 1×0 were much slower, but that looked almost unusable. Still, I would much rather put up with that than use a Palm Pilot or Windows Mobile machine…

Hoo-ah. I had a chance to play with a Palm a few weeks ago, and I wasn’t impressed either.
